Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling-basis with a deadline of April 29, 2024 or until all available spots are filled.

Instructions:

  1. Please answer the two questions below either in a written OR video format.
    1. Please tell the committee why you would like to be a TRANSCEND Trainee. Reflect upon how your previous experience and training and/or ultimate career goals involve Education Neuro(EdNeuro), and how these will catalyze scientific discovery and innovation in EdNeuro with the training and experience you expect to get through TRANSCEND?
    2. We are committed to increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in this program. If you are willing to share, please tell us if you belong to a group that is underrepresented in higher education. Examples include underrepresented minorities, people with disabilities or learning differences, first-generation college graduates, or people from low income family backgrounds. If you belong to another group you believe may be underrepresented, please list it here.If you don’t belong to a group that is underrepresented in higher education, please share any relevant experiences and/or your perspective on the importance of increasing participation of underrepresented groups in this program and higher education. All answers will be confidential.

Written Submission

Please answer the two questions separately and submit two pdf files with your response to the questions above. Attach the files in the application.

Question 1:

  • Your response can be up to 500 words in length
  • Name your file “Name_Written_Response_one_TRANSCEND.pdf”

Question 2:

  • Your response can be up to 300 words in length
  • Name your file “Name_Written_Response_two_TRANSCEND.pdf”

Video Submission

Please answer the two questions separately and upload your two video to youtube/google drive/dropbox. Attach the links in the application.

Question 1:

  • 3 mins maximum
  • Title your video “Name_Video_Response_one_TRANSCEND”

Question 2:

  • 2 mins maximum
  • Title your video “Name_Video_Response_two_TRANSCEND”
